Tate McRae’s second Phoenix show on November 5, 2025, delivered a very high energy and emotional performance that highlighted her growth as a singer and dancer at the Mortgage Matchup Center. The arena was packed, and from the opening track “Miss Possessive,” McRae had the crowd engaged. Her mix of choreography and live vocals made songs like “2 Hands,” “Greenlight,” and fan favorite “One Day” stand out even more.
The production was very high tech with bright lighting, sharp staging, and a strong sound mix. While there were minor technical issues during the concert (the screens sometimes lagged during performances), the night was very memorable. She also delivered many amazing dance numbers during some of her songs. An example was during her song “2 Hands,” where she delivered a jaw-dropping dance routine along with her backup dancers. She also encouraged her audience to put away their phones during the concert so that people could enjoy being in the moment rather than being distracted by trying to get good pictures or videos. The concert was nothing less than an amazing night full of fun and much singing and dancing.
However, what happened after the concert wasn’t as fun. A couple days after the concert, Maricopa County health officials reported that a person with measles attended the Nov. 5 show (the second night). Because measles is extremely contagious and can linger in the air for hours, anyone at the venue, especially unvaccinated individuals, might have been exposed. There are no confirmed cases that another person was infected, but health officials are still being cautious about anyone who attended that night.
While measles wasn’t what many had in store for that night, everyone left that concert with a deeper love for Tate, and people who didn’t previously know her left with a newfound love for her.
