Ava Peterson, Editor
Ava Peterson is a junior and this year’s News Editor for the Wolf Howl. Dedicated to community engagement, she served as Treasurer for Future Inspired Native American Leaders (F.I.N.A.L.) last year, guiding projects and advocating for Indigenous youth; this year, she was elected Co-President!
After joining the Wolf Howl in her sophomore year, Ava made it her goal to share more Indigenous stories through her writing. At Chandler High School, Ava has participated in Academic Decathlon, and she has also completed internships in journalism, law, and anesthesiology. Ava frequently writes about Indigenous issues, seeking to amplify underrepresented voices. Ava balances academics, cultural advocacy, and professional development to create meaningful change in the community.
