Ryan Acevedo is a freshman and this will be his first year in the newspaper. Ryan is excited to write about opinions because he feels that he can be passionate and find a connection writing opinion articles. His reason for joining the newspaper was wanting to try something new. Ryan’s interpretation of journalism is covering stories that are interesting and stir up buzz around them. As for pursuing a career in journalism he is undecided, while preferring to look into a career in IT. Outside of school Ryan likes to hang out with friends and bake when he has the time.
