Rock the Street Wall Street is opening doors for young women at Chandler High, giving them the tools to better understand money and explore careers in finance.
The club, often referred to as RTSWS, focuses on teaching girls the basics of financial literacy. Last year I was just a member, and this year I’m a CEO,” says Ellie Craig, senior. This structure encourages members to think more professionally and take ownership of their roles within the club.
Beyond the educational benefits, RTSWS creates a strong sense of community. “It opens the door to a community of other women who are interested in careers in finance and overall financial literacy,” Craig said. The club emphasizes a judgment-free environment where members can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and grow more confident in managing money.
