For the first time in 28 years, the Phoenix Suns made it to the NBA Finals. Winning games against the Los Angeles Lakers (4-2), the Los Angeles Clippers (4-2), and the Denver Nuggets(4-0). A quick recap of the Suns in 2019-20 season:

Kicking off the 2019-20 NBA season, in October The Suns did well winning  3-2 overall. November The Suns fell behind in their winning streak with an overall of 5-8. The team did not quit; nor did the support of their fans. In December, they were still behind, 5-10. January 2020 improving, however still behind, the Suns started winning more games with an overall, 7-8. In February, the Suns fell 5-8. In March 2020, Phoenix was in a winning tie 2-2. Then the infamous Coronavirus hit, cutting the season for four months.  When the season started back up in July 2020, Phoenix did not lose one game. Unfortunately, the Suns still could not make it to the finals.

Moving forward to the 2020-21 NBA season, winning their first game, December 23, 2020, the Suns beat the Dallas Mavericks 106-102. The last few games of December looked good for the Phoenix Suns, only losing one game vs. the Sacramento Kings on December 26, 2020, 103-106. January The Suns had many close games with teams like the Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, and the Houston Rockets. The Suns stepped it up from last season and left their overall record for their season so far, 10-8. February was a very impressive month for the Suns; they ended off the month with an overall record of 22-11. They only lost three games and dominated the Detroit Pistons 109-92. However, the season isn’t over yet. Nevertheless, the Suns still lived up to their potential in March, only losing three games again. Their overall record was 42-18. In the last two months of the regular season, the Phoenix Suns continue to impress everyone, from fans to other teams to commentators to people who don’t even watch basketball. By the end of the regular season, the Phoenix Suns’ overall record was 51-2, setting them a spot in the NBA playoffs.

The Playoffs started on May 22, 2021, the first Suns Western Conference playoff game was the next day. Overthrowing The Los Angeles Lakers 99-90. The playoffs continue until June 13, 2021, where the Suns are still in the season; they make it to the semifinals with the Denver Nuggets. Which fans seemed to think would be the end of their season, considering the Suns’ constant loss to the Nuggets. Breathtakingly, the Suns won every game in the Semi-Finals, which brought the Suns to the NBA West Conference Finals.

Extremely confident and motivated, VS. the Los Angeles Clippers, the Suns win the Western Conference finals 4-2. Now nationwide, NBA fans are out of their seats now knowing what has happened. The Phoenix Suns have made it to the NBA finals. July 6-20, 2021, the Suns put up a good fight against the Milwaukee Bucks, unfortunately, lost the NBA finals 2-4. Some fans are disappointed. Some are ecstatic knowing the Suns made it so far. Either way, the Suns had an amazing 2020-21 season. For the first time since 1993, the spectacular turnaround from the team has left people thinking, what does the Phoenix Suns have in store for us next season? Will they return to being a decent team? Or will the Phoenix Suns continue to impress the Nation and bring home a championship?
