Ipshita Chowdhury is a junior at Chandler High School. Ipshita was originally born in Bangladesh and has lived in New York and Pennsylvania. This is Ipshita's first year as a member of the Wolf Howl.  She joined this year because of her love for writing and a recommendation from her 10th grade English teacher. She is excited to publish her first story and to write about her passions, social issues, and politics. Ipshita is also involved in Muslim Student Union and volunteers outside of school at a non-profit organization. After high school, Ipshita wants to attend NYU majoring in Political Sciences or Criminal Justice, then plans to attend law school. Ipshita says if she was an animal, she'd be a tiger: "You’d be on the top of the food chain and I like to assert my dominance.”
