Tristan Ortega is in his senior year at Chandler High as well as the special features editor of the Wolf Howl. Tristan Ortega is known for his diverse interests and dedication. As a student, Tristan balances his academic pursuits with a passion for reading, often found immersed in various genres.
“I’m interested in writing a realistic novel because I would love to write about how we as people experience different realities in our daily lives,” Tristan explained.
Tristan aspires to become a high school English teacher to help inspire other kids in the world of literature and help kids who have similar desires. Beyond his literary interests, Tristan is deeply committed to his family, prioritizing their well-being and spending quality time with them. At Chandler High, Tristan contributes to the school’s Wolf Howl newspaper as a photographer, capturing the essence of school events and student life through his lens.
“Being a part of something that is beneficial and contributes to the school body as well as the community is really cool,” Tristan shared.
Tristan’s multifaceted involvement showcases his ability to balance personal interests with community contributions, marking him as a well-rounded individual. He also hopes to inspire anyone who has a desire to explore journalism or interviewing to join the Wolf Howl and experience the joy in being a part of the Wolf Howl team.
