Dhalia Flores is a junior at Chandler High School who has recently joined the Wolf Howl Newspaper staff. Having moved to Chandler High her sophomore year from Hamilton, Dhalia was eager to get more involved on campus. After receiving a recommendation from a previous reporter, she decided to join the Wolf Howl.
Dhalia has a passion for writing, but she particularly enjoys drawing. As a result, she hopes to find an opportunity to incorporate her artwork into the newspaper, as she has been honing her skills for the past few years. If she could choose any section to write for, Dhalia would like to contribute to the opinion section because she loves sharing her thoughts with others.
In her free time, Dhalia enjoys spending time with her two dogs and binge-watching a variety of anime shows. She also loves to travel; she visited Rocky Point and fell in love with the beach there. When asked about her dream vacation, Dhalia said, “I already lived my dream vacation…Rocky Point was such an amazing experience.”
After high school, Dhalia hopes to become either a nurse or a real estate agent, and she may attend Arizona State University to achieve her goals. Although she may not have a clear path yet, Dhalia certainly has a bright future ahead of her and is poised to make significant contributions to the Wolf Howl Newspaper staff.
