Lily Eaton, CHS junior, is this year’s Features Editor. Outside of the Wolf Howl newsroom, Lily is also a 2024-2025 FFA National Champion, a softball player, and a member of numerous other extracurricular activities on campus. Originally, Lily joined the newspaper by accident. However, it was an accident that has improved her more than ever.
This year, 2025, marks Lily’s third year in the Wolf Howl and her second year as an editor. “I try different things, I try writing different things,” Lily explained. She is a self-motivated person who is able to keep herself on track toward success, even juggling multiple activities and responsibilities.
Lily plans to study criminal psychology in the future and is using her school experiences to prepare for it, gaining knowledge and learning techniques to help her. While being focused and doing well in school, Lily is also a fun and loyal friend who is full of life. She hopes to further expand her academics and find more opportunities to participate in this year.
As a Wolf Howl reporter, Lily has written about many events all over campus. From giving life advice to sharing student opinions to school and real-life news events, even social media controversies, Lily has covered it all, highlighting some of the biggest events here at CHS in many stories. She believes that there is always room for improvement, and with her excellent photography skills and unique writing, Lily plans to continue to contribute excellent work to the newspaper this year. Since she is open to writing about anything, we are excited to see the amazing stories that Lily will write this year!
