Melanie Harris is a sophomore at Chandler High School who has been involved with the Wolf Howl for the past two years. Melanie joined the Wolf Howl because of how much she enjoyed it freshman year and her desire for journalism. Melanie shared that she “enjoyed the experience of being able to learn more about journalism, explore new cities and areas, and the company of the people at Wolf Howl.”
When Melanie isn’t reporting for the Wolf Howl, she spends her time finishing any school work, watching Teen Titans Go in bed, and going out for walks. Starting this August, Melanie will also be joining the girls badminton team here at Chandler High School.
During her Freshman year, Melanie was scared to branch out and make friends, but by joining the Wolf Howl she was able to make great friends and share fun memories with the fellow reporters. Because of her experience last year, she is more eager than ever to branch out and looks forward to making new friends as well as being more out there.
Melanie’s biggest desire for sophomore year is making more fun memories with the Wolf Howl, trying things she’s never done before, and making this year the best year at Chandler High.
