After four years and many hours put into school, the Chandler High School experience has come to an end of the Class of 2025. For many, high school was an adventure with ups and downs.
Izzy Geary, who graduates this May, has many high school memories, but the one that stuck out the most for her was going to Kansas City, Missouri in 2024 for a journalism conference in her first year of Yearbook. Yearbook ended up being Izzy’s favorite class in her entire high school career, giving her the opportunity to make more friends with the members of her publication team.
One teacher that had an impact on Izzy was Mr. Trevor Hammond. He has always been someone she can talk to and never “makes her feel dumb.”
The subject Izzy struggled with the most was math. Choosing ot be proactive, Izzy challenged herself by taking two math classes during her freshman year so that she wouldn’t have to take a math class her senior year.
Izzy is sad to go and will miss all the activities that she was a part of and the people she met through them. She’s going to miss her friends and boyfriend when she leaves, as well as attending assemblies and taking pictures for the yearbook.
