Chandler HS holds first Trunk or Treat event

Tuesday, October 29th was the first of what we hope will be an annual Trunk or Treat event at Chandler High School.

It was a fun event with many activities for attendees to enjoy. There was delicious kettle corn and many games to play like ping pong, bean bag toss, and more.

Noah Renteria, a junior, enjoyed the many activities and plentiful amounts of candy being passed around. “This was my first trunk or treat,” Renteria explained. “I was glad that I went.”

Aaron Doan, another junior, said that although attending the Trunk or Treat wasn’t initially his idea (“My girlfriend made me come”), he ended up having more fun than he anticipated. “At first I thought it would be boring… but in reality it was pretty fun.” Doan enjoyed the music, candy, and photo-taking opportunities. “I really had a good time here,” he admitted.

Besides candy, snacks, games, music, and photo ops, Chandler’s own Modazz Dance Company performed as well. This year’s Trunk or Treat was fun, and we are hoping for next year to be even better. Don’t miss out on next year—dress up, bring a couple of friends, and have fun!

Morrissey Cervantes, Reporter

Morrissey Cervantes joined Newspaper as a Junior, becoming a brand new member for the Wolf Howl team in 2024. Along with Newspaper, he is involved in Yearbook and Graphic Design. Morrissey is a chill, casual person who hopes to succeed in getting good grades this year. He’s willing to write any prompt given to him to raise his grade and have fun. Morrissey likes to play video games and soccer and listen to metal music. Although he thinks he isn’t very outgoing, he still has fun hanging out with friends. In the future, Morrissey wants to gain a job he enjoys doing that pays well. Morrissey hopes to have a good year and make new friends in Newspaper.
