Kona Ice supports Social Studies Council with fundraiser money

Kona Ice and other food vendors bring a very nice variety to campus lunch but as a fundraiser where does the money go? The Social Studies Council deals with Kona Ice and who much is actually made fluctuates a lot from anywhere from $40 to as high as $100 and often the money goes towards feeding the Club twice a month. But it doesn’t go all to the Council as the Social Studies Council decided to give $200 of their earnings from the fundraiser to buy turkeys for the Chandler Care Center. So your payment for good food around campus is also going back to the community.

Perrin Ball, Reporter
Perrin Ball is a sophomore entering the Wolf Howl for his very first year. He has a strong sense of truth, defining journalism as “...making sure you don’t pollute your answers with bias or incorrect stuff. You have to make sure you have multiple sources and whatnot and you have to make sure you’re telling the truth no matter what, otherwise there’s no point to it.” Alongside being a member of the Wolf Howl team, Perrin is a member of stagecraft and will be joining Theater 1 in the second semester.  At the conclusion of his time in Chandler High School, Perrin aspires to become an actor, but also has an interest in pursuing a career in teaching early high school students.
