The 2024 Grammys took place February 4th, 2024, in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was a night filled with great performances, music, and some well-deserved recognition for some amazing artists. Some standout moments include Miley Cyrus winning her first ever Grammy, Victoria Monet winning best new artist, Taylor Swift not only winning two Grammys but also announcing a new album, and Phoebe Bridgers being the most awarded artist winning four Grammy’s that night. Some other major winners were Billie Eilish winning song of the year and SZA winning best R&B song, best R&B album, and best pop duo/group performance. Every year some awards make many viewers angry or upset, which again happened this year too. One of them being Killer Mike who, like SZA, also won three Grammys: best rap album, best rap song, and best rap performance. Many people were extremely upset about this because they had said they have never even heard of Killer Mike or that the other nominees he was up against were much better, but with that said it was still a very awarding night for Killer Mike and many other artists. This year’s Grammys, like many others, is a night to remember.

Lily Eaton, Editor
Lily Eaton is a sophomore at CHS and an editor of the Wolf Howl this year. She joined the Wolf Howl last year, almost as an accident. Lily said, “I ended up liking it a lot! I met a lot of great people. Some of them [became] my best friends.” Lily hopes to pursue a career in law or journalism as well as continue her softball career throughout high school and possibly into college. A fun fact about Lily is that she has a twin sister who also attends Chandler High School. Besides softball, Lily is also involved in FFA and plans to go to Nationals this year. She hopes to gain more knowledge about layout and photography moving forward.
