Recently, Black Friday, a very popular event before Christmas to go in-store shopping, has experienced a significant decline in popularity. This shift can be the fact that consumers are starting to choose the convenience of purchasing from the comfort of their homes. This change in consumer behavior has left the retailers to find new ways to bring in shoppers.

Black Friday has been known for the long lines, crowded stores, and shoppers fighting for limited deals. However, the emergence of e-commerce and the rise of online shopping events, such as Cyber Monday, have changed the retail aspect. Consumers now have access to deals and discounts, all with just a few clicks.

The flexibility offered by online shopping have proven to be game changers. WIth the ability to compare prices, read customer reviews, and make informed decisions, consumers are able to have a more enjoyable experience online. Moreover the option for doorstep delivery has canceled the need to be in crowded stores, since it is saving time and energy during a hectic holiday season.

As the holiday shopping season continues to evolve, it is clear that the rise of online shopping has forever changed the retail aspect. Whether Black Friday will reclaim its usual shopping in person or continue to decline in popularity. Overall, The convenience and accessibility of online shopping has changed consumer expectations and might not be the same again.
