The Marvel Cinematic Universe, more commonly known as the MCU, has taken a huge leap into the future — literally. With the new Loki series recently ending there has been a lot of speculation as to what’s to going to happen moving forward.
Since the start of Marvel Phase four, fans have been working to figure out what their next move will be. For WandaVision it was the inclusion of Mephisto, for the Loki series it was the appearance of Kang the Conqueror. In the new, unreleased Spiderman: No Way Home, fans were hope for the appearances of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, especially with the trailer’s confirmation of several other characters coming to the big screen this December. Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, along with confirmation of the Green Goblin coming back, played by Willem Dafoe, is enough to have fans begging for more — but that’s not all.
These two appearances seem to be foreshadowing the appearance of the Sinister Six, which appear several times in the Marvel Comics. There has been more speculation of what characters are to come, fans are expecting Electro to appear due to a yellow flash of lightning in the new trailer. Even with all of these conspiracies, and possible plot lines fans are still excited to see what Marvel will come up with, if you are one of those fans you’ll have to wait to find out.
