About the Contributor
Tristan Ortega, Reporter
Tristan Ortega is a Junior at Chandler High School, and this is first year in Newspaper. Tristan joined Newspaper because of his passion for writing. He wanted to be part of a class that could offer him more time to write. Tristan's goal for this upcoming year in Newspaper is to expand on his writing techniques and abilities. After high school, he wants to pursue a career in writing to become an author. As an author, Tristan hopes to write in the genre of realistic fiction. Other than Newspaper, he is involved in Chandler High's Creative Writing Club to also help expand his writing skills. Tristan has many hobbies such as writing, cooking, baking, and exercising. Something he wishes more people know about him is that he's content and not upset: “I’m not mad, I just look like this.” He also said if he could live anywhere in the world he would “probably just live in a small town my grandparents lived in.”
