The 2024-2025 CHS Girls’ Basketball season jumps off to a fantastic start with the Lady Wolves being undefeated! Chandler has dribbled away with victory after victory, keeping their perfect season alive, and making history by maintaining an impressive undefeated streak that has left fans and opponents alike in awe.
Chandler put another one in the bag this past Thursday, December 12, 2024, keeping their perfect season alive. The Varsity Lady Wolves beat the Mountain View Toros 52-31, making this their seventh victory in a row. Following in their footsteps, Chandler’s Freshman team also won against the Toros with a total score of 40-28, making them 4-0 for the season.
The Chandler High School Girls’ Basketball team’s incredible performance has been a testament to the tremendous amount of hard work and dedication of the players and their coaches. As they face off against each new opponent, the players demonstrate remarkable skill and teamwork with each passing game. The girls’ passion for the game shines through, as they remain focused on their ultimate goal: to maintain their undefeated streak and bring home the championship trophy.
As the team forges ahead this season, it is clear that they are determined to make the most of it. The players’ passion for their sport is unmistakable as they continue to improve and excel in every game, and determination is a key factor in their success thus far.
I asked the seemingly unbeatable Lady Wolves what factors have helped them maintain an undefeated season so far. Here are their responses:
Dior Fall: “Definitely the effort that we have been giving throughout the season so far. The majority of the team shows up at 5AM every single day.”
Karis Hurd: “I really think it’s the team’s chemistry. We’re all really close. How we are [off] and on the court resembles each other.”
AJ Nichols: “Communication.”
The players, coaches, and their community are united in the belief that this season will truly be something special. With the team improving their defense each game, their determination to achieve an undefeated season is displayed in their commitment to their hard work.
